Paperista

Paperista-blog Antoinette at Paperista is fabulous! Paperista is a charming store in Minnestoa. The ladies at Paperista work to make sure all your wedding and stationery needs come true! They work with you to provide style and unique design onto paper. I just had to ask more after seeing Antointette's love for Zebra!!

How many years have you been in business? 3 years

Do you have a website, if so, what's the address? www.paperista.com

If you were to sell something other than stationery, what would it be? Christian Louboutin shoes, of course!

Besides the obvious (stationery), what is your favorite thing to give as a hostess gift? Flowers and a bottle of wine with ribbon attached to a simply stated sentiment!

Here at Haute Papier, we love to eat!  When in NYC for the National Stationery Show, where is your favorite place to eat? We LOVE to go to the The Standard Hotel under the High Line in the Meat Packing district. The patio of The Standard Grill is perfection!

Any other tidbits about your store you'd like to share? Paperista is a custom stationery and event design boutique in the quaint shopping area of 50th & France in Edina/Minneapolis, Minnesota.  In addition to famed couture stationery, Paperista also offers artisan greeting cards, entertaining accessories, everyday stationery, luxe on-trend gift items and designers who are available to style event environments (right down to the table-scape detail).

A Great Gatsby Affair

A Great Gatsby Affair

A few weeks ago, my friends and I headed to F. Scott's in Georgetown to live a night in the 1920's at a Great Gatsby inspired event in Washington, DC.
The minute we stepped through the door we entered another era! The 20's styled atmosphere of F.Scotts came alive once the authentic 20's music began to play.
Everyone came dressed to impress – headbands, sequins, and tassels filled the room. It was a truly unforgettable night!

Paper Sale!

Post10.4 During our big move, we came across tons of paper used during various projects.  I'm talking really nice paper - couture project worthy!  But since we don't have plans for the paper we figured we would have a little "studio" sale.  (Think yard sale, but we don't have a yard!)  We're selling the paper by the box for only $30 per..  The paper is all different shapes, sizes and colors.  We even have some envelopes to make some DIY stationery.  I know, I know!  At $30 per box, this is a steal of a deal!  In fact, I'm rethinking it right now so hurry before I change my mind!

Baby, it's cold outside!

Cowl While I love the beauty in the golden color of the gingkos and the crunching of the cranberry and sienna tinted maple leaves under my boots on the Georgetown cobblestone sidewalks, I just can't bring myself to like the cooler temperatures that came along with the start of October.  It happens every year, Summer just slips away too fast and the holiday rush is here at Haute Papier!

While I haven't made this Make-it Monday project yet, I can't wait to find a snuggly fabric to adorn in little pom poms to cut the chill in the air!  I found it on one of my favorite blog, the purl bee.  You can find the full directions here and next time you're in NYC, be sure to stop by their store in SoHo for some amazing fabrics and yarns!
