On Our Desks

Like many, we are totally swooning over Japanese Washi tape!  We just love it and can't get enough.  But paired with our acrylic tape dispensers it's just over the top!  We love the creative and modern feel of both the tape and dispenser.  The only problem we see ... which of the many wonderful colors and patterns do we want to use at any given time!  It truly is the small things in life that can bring a big 'ole smile to your face throughout the day!

Make-it Monday: Chalkboard-style

Just a little peek inside of my kitchen today for Make-it Monday.  Our all white kitchen needed a little livening up when we moved in, so I pained the top 2.5 feet of the wall in black chalkboard paint, and then started a "recipe mural" in white chalk.  I'm only 1/3 done and looking forward to getting the rest of the recipe up there - maybe in the style of my new favorite font?  What do you think?

Papergraphic

I absolutely love typography and paper crafts, so when I came across Yulia Brodskaya's work, I immediately fell in love! Yulia uses thin strips of paper to create detailed illustrations using decorative swirls! The technique is known as "papergraphic" and can take a couple of days – or weeks to finish! Check out her website for more beautiful samples of her work!

Great to see ya'll!

I was so excited to have time last Sunday to flip through my most recent Southern Living, and even more pleased to come across the article featuring a few of the South's best in stationery.  We're thrilled to be featured in several of the boutique's listed including Rock Paper Scissors in Charlottesville; Salutations with two locations in the great State of North Carolina (no bias of course!);  Kyle Fine Stationery in Tuscaloosa; and Chirps & Cheers in Edmond, OK.  Congrats to all ... great feature ladies!
