We love all things letterpress (as you know!), so you can imagine how exciting it was to come across Letter M Press! Letter M Press is an iPad application that allows anyone to create letterpress creations using digital wood type. We especially love that the process is the same – you arrange, lock, and ink the type – and you can print it once you're finished! This is a must have app for all letterpress lovers who don’t have the room for the real thing!

Hatch Show Print Letterpress!
If you’ve ever seen a country music poster, there’s a good chance it was created by Hatch Show Print – one of America’s oldest working letterpress print shops! And since we love letterpress (and country music!), we were beyond excited to see this feature in Country Living Magazine this month! Make sure to check out all of the amazing posters!

Happy Valentine's Day to you! I've put my VERY LARGE box of bonbons away just to say how much I'm still swooning over our absolutely adorable Valentine's inspired coasters! I love love love our conversation hearts - this is one of those designs that you like a lot on screen, but only truly melts your heart once they come off the letterpress. Remember the ribbon post from last week? Well, here's some of that gorgeous ribbon in action with our Pattern Love coasters packaged and ready to ship! Okay, enough of the cheesy love innuendos - back to my box of chocolates!
Drink of the Month: The Hummingbird
After receiving a St. Germain poster with different drink options, us ladies at Haute Papier took it upon ourselves to try them out! We decided to pick one drink to test a month! We decided to try “The Hummingbird” for the month of January, which is the signature cocktail of St. Germain – and now we know why – it’s delicious!

Hot off the Press: Silver Foil Holiday Suite
Nothing like saving the best for last! I've been waiting for weeks to share this last holiday card suite with you. We created this for one of Haute Papier's dearest friends and long time client, Nancy Margaret. She wanted a big "wow" factor this year since the birth of her and her husband's first child happened in 2011 and she had the most adorable photograph to share with friends and family. We still can't figure out how they got all three dogs and the baby to sit still for this great shot by Jennifer Anderson Photography (once our neighbor in Leesburg!). The cards were printed on Crane's 220# lettra (so luxurious!) with red letterpress and silver foil stamping on both the front and back. The envelopes were the perfect shimmery red with silver foiled snowflakes falling on both the flap and front of the envelope... and we couldn't have a suite this great without custom stamps as a final touch! Thank you to The Adlers for giving us the creative liberty, as always, to put this wintery delight together for you!
